I was a little upset 😞 that they treated her like they had caught her instead of her confessing, but maybe they were just mad that they couldn't see this coming.

Honestly, I stoped at 35%. I love the other books, ,but this just annoyed me. I get you would do anything for family but she realizes in days these are the good guys and just trying to help. She thinks she perfect to be a “spy” but first time Siro finds her she can’t think? Then it ok to destroy a ship full a people for one? I guess I’m tired of writers making females that stupid. Hopefully the future books will be better.

Rating. Not a fan of Darcy.
With her background I thought she turned out to be a wishy washy character. No way would she trust the abductors to keep word.
Wish she spilled and then they spend time rescuing her sister. Then the four get stranding on what will be their new planet home

Overall, I’m finding the entire Warrior Mates of the Zivon series not as entertaining or exciting as other series she has written. Primarily because of the slow beginnings and heroines who are shallow and their actions are hard to have empathy for them. Hope the cycle changes with Book 7 - looking forward to a grumpy older alien!

Presley Hall’s Challenged by the Alien Captain is the sixth book in the Warrior Mates of Zivon series. It is a good addition in that readers meet new characters, and learn that there are active areas on earth where aliens are abducting human women and selling them on other planets. Darcy and her sister Maya are taken by alien pirates while on a modeling call and sold to the evil Kruul. Darcy is blackmailed into sabotaging the Zivonian ship called The Oasis because the Kruul hate the Zivonians and want them completely annihilated. The Kruul threaten to kill her sister if she does not follow through with their plan. Along the way, Darcy meets her soul mate by the name of Siro. As the two get to know each other, their love begins along with the conflict. It is such a good story that if readers like aliens with honor, they will enjoy all of Presley Hall’s Warrior Mates stories.

Forgiveness and love

The story featured the best parts of a sci-fi romance - forgiveness and lots of action to go with the love. Siri and Darcy meet in impossible circumstances and, as they fall in love, choices and decisions are made and un-made. I loved that Darcy showed not only love for her sister but also integrity and that Siri showed both love and forgiveness. I think that this story is my favourite in the series so far. I can’t wait for Anzir and Maya’s story! I happily and voluntarily reviewed this book.

Just what I needed..a great thrilling story to mentally escape this heat..the amount of care this author takes to describe in vivid detail the surroundings of the characters allows the reader to fully embrace and immerse themselves into the story and connect to the characters emotionally I couldn't put this down and will definitely be back to re-read this in the very near future
