Deamspeaker Destination's Coastal Magic takes you sailing on a 5-day dream cruise along the magnificent coast of British Columbia, Canada. With Anne and Laurence as your guides, your journey will begin in cosmopolitan Vancouver and follow the Sunshine Coast to the majestic wilderness of Princess Louisa Marine Park and the powerful beauty of Chatterbox falls as it tumbles and roars.
A well done cruising overview of the area. I had hoped that it had more detail with regard to the logistics for someone who is planning this trip. Possibly it was too short to include information about various bareboat charter options, what level of provisioning is necessary, i.e.meals on board vs. restaurant opportunities, percentage of hours sailed vs. motored, etc.
I am always more interested in the 'mechanics' of boating such as dealing with tides and currents esp in the Malibu rapids. In NW waters I have always been way more interested in getting to a Canadian coastal location safely in my 26' Seaswirl Striper, where to get diesel fuel, customs, etc.
For several years before I retired I had the wonderful opportunity to deliver Viking Yachts out of NewGretna N.J. to marinas and New owner's up and down the east coast..Although I did no Sailing this Coastal Magic Sailing adventure brought back a lot of pleasant memories.
Agree with others, more specific info would be nice, but the production value is high (except for a few overly dramatic transitions) and the scenery is gorgeous. Overall well done and I would watch another if available on Prime.
The filming and lovely scenery were great, but I would like more information included on the particulars of the trip - how to the marine parks work? How are the anchoring conditions? What facilities are available where?
