I really like the plot - it was presented in a very engaging way. Keeps me wanting to watch more and more and more. But in this review, I want to talk about something else than the plot.
I want to thank the producers of this show. I will be watching it as long as it is going to be filmed. Thank you. You pictured a wonderful woman who is smart and sensitive and loving and beautiful -- and does not look like Twiggy. And has a wrinkle of two, and these wrinkles just show her humanity and do not take anything away from her beauty. You show that even if our bodies are not the copies of cover magazine models, we can be special and loved and "preferred" by our partners to someone more Barbie-like. It also shows the man who deeply loves his not-Barbie wife. There are probably some wives around who do not feel good about their looks and do not believe their husbands when they tell them they are gorgeous. And who knows, maybe the husband is sincere...
I wish there were more shows and movies like that. There are too many of us around who feel terrible about our image because all other movies, magazines etc show pictures of beauty that is unattainable to us.
For the sake of all insecure teenage girls, please keep shows like that coming. We need a counterbalance.
