Love Amazon original kids shows. The girls are all portrayed as smart, wholesome, strong, moral individuals that are absolutely adorable. Amazon's kids shows remind me of how great Disney's kids shows used to be. Sixx Orange is fantastic playing a sweet girl that does not want to be a princess, she wants to play soccer player and make friends at her new school.
Amazon's kids shows like: Just Add Magic, Gortimer Gibbons, Annendroids and Table 58 are all fantastic and fun while being clean cut. I hope these great shows continue. Welldone!
Our family really enjoyed this series. We have a daughter who is an avid soccer player, and who loved the books written by Alex Morgan. While the television series departs from the storyline of the books, the episodes are welldone and stand on their own. Each episode manages to tell an engaging story, and also introduces a moral or behavior choice. There are good examples of sportsmanship, fairness, hard work, teamwork, and other positive messages. No plot spoilers here, but the final episodes in the series were not as good as the rest. All in all, our eleven year old thinks they are terrific, and we enjoy watching them with her.
This is such a timely show for teenagers. It demonstrates the challenges that they face trying to fit in with each other without using defiant or bad behavior like most shows do. The media has a huge influence on how kids learn to treat each other. This program exhibits this with warmth and humor. The cast fit so well together and they are extremely likable. I feel good about seeing my kids watch this program. Welldone, Amazon!
This was a lot, lot better than I had expected. Excellent job by all. It's a very welldone series. Very age appropriate and family-friendly. Better than the expected and/or usual production values (no cheap sets). Highly recommended.
My daughters have read all of The Kicks books. They were so excited to see that they made it a series. The storyline is a bit different than the books but welldone. It is a nice family show that has some life lessons for girls especially. They hope there will be more Seasons. They are watching Season 1 a second time and they probably will watch it a third time as well.
My kids ages 6 and 8 LOVE this series. I think my soccer crazy son likes it more than my daughter. Great messages, fun story, and very relatable. We started watching it after reading the books--also great! Thanks Alex Morgan!...woman of many talents.
My three kids enjoy this show-the messages are fitting for many different age groups and apply to both males and females. Of my three kids, my 7 year old daughter enjoys it most (other children are boys age 5 and 10). It is very welldone and we enjoy watching it as a family. We can't wait for the next season!
