Another show ruined by progressive nonsense
Bosch is too fat to start. I could only watch the first 30 minutes and even then could barely pay attention. So many subtle woke cues and identity politics run amok. Bosch's long glares and glowering are absurd and out of character but now he's a social justice warrior or something. I couldn't be more ticked off. The show was a PROCEDURAL with a dark side. That's what made it work. And Edgar's character is completely implausible. The books were amazing. Now? It drips with maudlin sentimentality. Why does Hollywood have to ruin everything that is good?

Boring SJW filled propaganda
The season premise is boring…little migrant girl dies of smoke inhalation incident to an arson fire in an apartment building loaded with Hispanic illegals who are being squeezed out of the building by the evil white landlords who want to gentrify the property and Bosch just gets all torn up over the “forgotten” minority crime victims.

Of course we’ve got to sit through pro-homosexual content with the added bonus of homophobic white and Asian police officers harassing the lesbian.

All the people in positions of power and authority are either black or Hispanic. Those groups are obviously in and whites and Asians are out.

We only made it through the first three shows but those who can stomach this BS will almost certainly see some kind of pro-transgender propaganda creep in about mid-season. That’s how it’s done, you realize, they slowly introduce more and more deviancy until you suddenly realize that you’re watching absolutely disgusting smut.

I’ve read all the Bosch novels and they weren’t filled with this kind of junk.

Skip the show and read the books.

Unbelievably bad. They destroyed the character of Bosch.
At the ending of Season 7, I couldn't believe how bad it had become. I really had enjoyed the entire series and the characters but in Season 7, they were all destroyed, especially Bosch.
Edgar becomes a lamebrain despondent and addlebrained over his killing of the evil Avril when in fact he should have been elated and previously had a strong enough character to handle it.
Then the addition of celibate bigoted white supremacists was ludicrous, ridiculous and hard to accept that their actions went essentially unpunished within the police dept for eons.
Bosch in the end loses sight of the big picture and becomes so totally focused on getting Pena that it results in the continued operation of major drug cartels the FBI was set to take down. His actions also result in the death of an innocent father. Bosch could have waited and knowing the enterprises that Pena was involved in, could have easily found him later after the drug cartel had been arrested. His actions also result in the destruction of his daugher's potential career choice and her dream of working with her father. He also destroys Chief Irving's career because he cooperated with the FBI to take down the drug cartel.
Overall I was really upset at the how Edgar's character was seriously demeaned, Chief Irving's career destruction when he really had the best interests of LA in his heart. Billets being focused on a single aspect of her life. And finally the total destruction of one of the best detectives in a series.

Wokeness ruined a fantastic series
Had been looking forward to season 7 for weeks as Bosch was one of my favorite series - what a huge disappointment! Watched the first 30 minutes and had to turn it off. Not the Bosch I had come to know and love. None of the actors were convincing - can’t blame them - it’s just a God-awful script dripping with ridiculous wokeness.

Another good show gone stupid
Wow. One of the few shows my husband and I watch and here we are In a new season with....political preaching! So we are to believe Woke, progressive LA is filled with homophobic white, male cops 🙄,..... when exactly did this happen? Up until now, I thought the lieutenant was treated quite respectfully. And I thought the original script was based off of books from the experiences of a cop.... why have the writers suddenly gone in another direction? And on top of this tired and unimaginative narrative... the poor illegals that every American hates! Spare me. Is intelligence in writing a fossil in Hollywood? Writers must all share a brain. Oh! And don't miss the ending where Bosch takes on not only the FBI, but the Commissioner.... and WINS! 🙄. Because high crime units will use their work phones to call a cop and tell him when and where a sting operation is going on. So, when Pena dies, FBI drives by and keeps going. ... because darn it!...Bosch beat them. Spare me! This was tortuous tv and I spent more time rolling my eyes than enjoying any of the writing. I want my time back. The best thing about this season is that I'll never have to turn on another Episode. Sequel? The annoying Maddie must be in tow next. I won't be watching. Good riddance.

Final Season? —???
Say it ain't so! I am going to miss these characters, and the writing. This has been one of my all time favorite shows from the very beginning.

And by the way ... how come there's not a "Jazz Favorites of Harry Bosch" playlist on Amazon Music. I guess if I want that done right, I'll need to do it myself ... I'll be back.

BOSCH = THE BEST DRAMA SHOW AVAILABLE ANYWHERE!
BOSCH. IS. SIMPLY. THE. BEST. SHOW. AROUND.

Bosch is back, been waiting for this one to stream for ages.

Everything is first-rate; acting, writing, direction, storyline, suspense, this show has it all.

Bosch (Titus Welliver) and Jerome Edgar (Jamie Hector) approach "Clint Eastwood" levels of coolness, and I didn't think that was even theoretically possible.

Bosch fans already know the above.
If you haven't watched this show before, go to Season One now and start the ride.

This is exactly the high-quality show that keeps me signed up as an Amazon Prime member.

Really looking forward to the Bosch spin-off show.
