Gwen is no stranger to difficulty, as she has dealt with plenty in her life so far. She was kidnapped by a sex trafficking ring but was "rescued" by vampires from The House of Jadon. Though she has been treated well since then, she has been told they cannot allow her to leave yet, as she is important to the community. Next thing she knows, she is taken--again--bitten, and dragged down into the ancient well with the powerful mage. Talk about irony.

As things stand, Fabian is a danger to the House of Jadon, and they must either find a way to bring him into the fold or contain him, even destroy him, if necessary. And he still needs the cooperation of his destiny in order to fulfill the terms of the curse, if he wants to continue to live. Come along for the ride, if you dare.

You need to find out for yourself!!!

I anxiously awaited this book for a long time. It opens strong but midway to starts to fizzle. The ending was a bit anticlimactic for me as I was looking for so much more. That being said, I still loved the book. Fabian's character was interesting and his powers were unquestionable. As a couple, he and Gwen fit well together. Gwen though frightened was not whiney. The back story was packed full of info and answered questions I had from previous books. There was action but less romance than previous books. I would have to say, all in all, this book is a setup for what is to come in the next book. Now that book is really going to be something to look forward to. I am giving this one four stars just because of all the questions I had that got answered and the wealth of info in the back story. The story line/plot was good, Fabian and Gwen were great characters, great dialog, a bit of action and everything went smoothly. I guess I over anticipated this one but it was still good all the same. Now all I need is the audio version so I can head Eric G. Dove read it to me. It will be a five star book then.

I did not think it possible for this author to carry this series any higher than she already has. Yet here we have it, the best book so far, in my humble opinion, of the Blood Curse series. Tessa Dawn is truly a gifted storyteller. Dawn’s ability to create such a unique world where her scenes are so detailed that you find your very being within the story itself, as if you can see, hear, taste, feel, and experience firsthand every aspect of the story. You begin to know each character as if you’d personally met each one of them. You feel their pain, their defeats, their triumphs, and their deep love for their own. The magic spells Dawn casts over, under, around, and through this book are utterly enchanting. This story, filled with lethal and absolutely stunning Vampires, dangerous Wizards, and supernatural Beasts alike will completely captivate you to the very end. It is a page turner, one you cannot put down. I absolutely give five stars to this magical masterpiece and I strongly recommend it. Each of these books carry their own story but I do suggest you start with book 1, Blood Destiny, of the Blood Curse series, as all of the characters evolve through each book as they were written. Either way, I promise, you will not be disappointed. Happy reading!

It's an incredible ride that we are taken on with a nearly 3,000 year old Vampire that must come to terms with the 21st century plus win the heart of his Destiny before his time runs out.
